We loved the decor and the fixtures in the bathroom were beautiful. Our room was really delightful, and even nicer than we had expected. Many upgraded features that you don't usually find in hotels.
The restaurant was really geared for a younger crowd. It was loud and we were looking for something quieter. In addition, I found their hotel website to be difficult to find important details. I found way more pertinent information about the hotel on the Booked.net website!
The Hotel at Arundel Preserve is definitely a 5 star hotel. As we pulled into the hotel we saw a modern looking structure with a beautiful multi- colored fountain! Walking into the beautiful front lobby, it was cool and inviting as we looked up and saw a magnificent chandelier. The team members were extremely courteous and pleasant. The rooms were amazing, luxurious and oh, so comfortable! The restaurant had superb cuisine and the wait staff was professional and lively. This hotel reminded us of the w in Hollywod- chic, luxurious and beautiful!! We highly recommend this hotel!!
As this hotel has been open approximately six weeks at the time of our visit, there was a 'gentleman' who I believe was associated with the hotel (shorter in stature, muscular) who we saw in the restaurant the 1st night we arrived and had dinner and then the following day for lunch...he was surely to the wait staff, unprofessional and dictatorial at best!
The hotel was very beautiful and room was very spacious and plush looking as well. Exercise room/equipment very nice and offered latest luxury with TV/iPod options. IPod option also very nice on alarm clock. Hotel restaurant offered very good menu with excellently prepared food as well (little pricey though). Convenient to mall/shopping and restaurants/businesses in Hanover area.
Hotel could not keep internet access available during prime evening hours and/or mornings. This was true with both wireless and direct connect. This made it very inconvient since I was here on business. Room temp does not match thermostat and seems to warm up during night until movement in the room resumes. Ice/vending not convenient. No hotel maps for services available in room. Maintenance worker took me through 2 floors to find the ice machine... Even he didn't know.
The lobby was very inviting and the decor was comforting. The room was the best i.e., loved the decor and all ammenities. The bed was great, great lighting, flooring. Noise level, great, occasionally heard what I thought was running water from another suite. Air traffic noise, minimal. Room service was great, minimal wait time and the salad (grilled chickenw/corn, roasted peppers, raisins and glazed pecans) was excellent! Will return to Grill Fire even if I'm not staying at The Hotel. Will return to The Hotel for a get-away. I live less than 2 miles from the hotel !
No complaints - A little confused on the "Parking" for guest. The signs indicated the 1st 2 levels were only for restuarant customers? Is there a entrance to the lobby from the gargage,I walked from the garage to the front entrance? I could not get the electricity to work at the bathroom vanity after pushing the reset button a couple of times. (Rm 627). The only ice machine was on the 5th floor.
Lovely room, comfortable beds, excellent staff! Loved everything about it!
I liked the whole lay out of the hotel. My wife loved it , we satyed there for our 6 year anniversary.
The only thing I can say is the hot water in the shower didnt get hot enough or stay hot that long.
Easy check in, parking was great
The Hotel Preserve had friendly accommodating staff. And the availability of the shuttle service was very convenient.
The hotel was very chic. The room was very clean with clean carpet, the bed was comfortable, and everything looked very modern. The bathroom was nice, being more than adequate in size. I loved the separate toilet area and I want to look around for the faucet that they had at the sink area. It was very cool. I was traveling with my sister and we were both very impressed with the room. We travel a lot with a group of friends and very critical of hotels that are not right. This hotel is where I will probably stay when I visit this area from now on.
As I said above, this was a very nice hotel and I would probably want to stay there the next time I come to the area, however, when I first arrived, I was told that my reservation was for another date. I was a little alarmed because I initially wanted to come the weekend before, but could not find acceptable accommodations. The hotel clerk was nice, but she said she was sure that the date was for another time. She asked if I had a copy of my reservation, which I did, thank God! I went to the car to get it, came back with it, and was shortly thereafter given a room. I would have been very upset if I had driven 4.5 hours to get there and not been able to get a room.
I am not sure if it was the type of cleaning products they use, or if they allow dogs and cats to sit on the furniture, but when I checked into the hotel I took a seat in the lobby and the next thing I knew I couldn't stop sneezing. My eyes got puffy and I started to break out in a rash. I do have allergies and the only thing I can think of was that the sofa I sat on had something I was allergic too.
The service was exellent. Took care of us during transition, very user friendly.
It is clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and well designed. Although I am not particularly a fan of modern interiors and furniture, I liked the interior design of this hotel and our room.
Good facilities at the hotel plus the Reserve itself has a good Indian restaurant and a coffee shop, so the business traveler is covered.
During my stay the breakfast service was slow. Seemed to be one waiter who was not husseling!
They had a very friendly staff and the room was very clean - I always check for bed bugs.
They ask to preserve water by hanging up your towels, but there is only one small towel rack inside the shower. Also, I was hoping that the room would be a little larger for how much we paid for the room.
Great location and it was exceptionally clean.
